Scored at walmart tonight!
 

First of all I thought there was a walmart ammo thread around here? I went back 5 pages and didn't see it *shrug* maybe I'm blind

Anyways I went to walmart tonight to try to score some 9mm Luger.

Walmart #1 out of everything except some 40S&W ~6 boxes for handguns...various assorted rifle ammo (including .223).

Walmart #2 I scored 13 boxes of 9mm (Blazer Brass) $8.97/box I of course bought all 13 on the shelf. Looked like 40S&W ~10 boxes and sold out of all other handgun ammo

That brings my "stockpile" up to 1150 rounds (mostly all Blazer Brass, some Sellier & Bellot) , I hope to make it about 5x bigger before I think about stopping

Hey BC, Im sure there is a walmart ammo thread. Every site has at least one.

I was happy to get 2 boxes of BB 45 last week, after about 3 weeks of "making the rounds" with nothing to show for it. Hopefully things start showing up a little more often.

Ive often wondered if it would just be cheaper in the long run to pay a little more for the ammo, or pay for shipping, than to keep wasting time and gas running around trying to save a few bucks a box.
